tail carriage

Has anyone run into this, Tail Carriage changing? When I got Logan he was a retired show dog. He always carried his tail down unless he was moving and then his tail was never raised higher than his back. Now his tail flips up when he stands like a Pom! What's up with that! Not that I care...
