1-800-petmeds

PETMEDS had to call my vet for a script for Snickers and it was faxed to them. So the vet has to have a record of the transaction.

my vet will price-match the internet sites- way more convenient for me

Same for us~

They even will sell one dose or however many you want.

I hav'ent had to worry to much about flea, tick, heartworm, cause I have a close friend that sends me a yearly supply(Revolution) at her cost. She has a rescue in Florida.

Gee we cant get any restricted medications for animals from anywhere but the vet. Things like worm, flea and tick products we can get online and at pet shops but otherwise you just got to hope your vet doesnt charge too much for the meds. Of course its a big downside for the vet and I can understand why they need to charge a bit more - they must have to store an awful lot of different meds and wouldnt have the turn over on some so they must get a lot of wastage.

I want to know where your vet is. I'd love to pay $80 for a year's supply of Interceptor. :eek2: My vet is around an hour away, and I pay $75 for six months of Interceptor for Smudge and the same for Fluffy's Sentinel. :eek2:

$75 for 6 months of interceptor?!?! Are you sure? I pay $27 for a 6 pack (11-25 pounds) of interceptor. Sentinel is $65

I'm 99% sure. I have a box of Sentienel, a box of Interceptor, and a box of Comforits at the house. For Fluffy I do not have an entire box of Comfortis, because she is still growing.

I paid the same price for the Sentinel and the Interceptor. Are the prices different for different weights? Smudge has the 26-40 lbs. box (Interceptor). I've got about 4 months worth of heartworm meds left. The next time I'll go in and ask, but I'm pretty sure.

They are more expensive for different weights, but only like $5 more.

When I asked my vet for a script so I could buy online; he said that he will price match the online prices.

I am so happy with that....I'd rather support my local vet.

Another program offered at our local SuperPetz gives the heartworm test and a year's supply of heartworm meds for dogs under 100 lbs for $50.

I would have loved for my vet to match the price. I would rather the money go to the vet than to petmeds but times are tough and I cant resist saving $45.

Pet Meds

Well, I am disappointed that Entirely Pets is no longer selling Interceptor. I called today to re-order and they are not selling prescription meds at the moment. The guy said they hope to re-group and start it again. I only paid 27.00 for a 12 month supply.Well, I needed it some so I went to my vet and to my surprise they sold it to me for the same price as I was getting it for on line plus I get a $6.00 rebate. So really I only spent $21.00 for a years supply.I keep my guys on it year round.
