10.18.09 Open Session: Dinner and Drinks

Sorry I missed it everyone!

I was feeling under the weather last night and just could not do it. The computer screen was just a blur.

I'm just catching up on the threads, but I seems like you'all just chatted the night away! And had a great time! And I missed the port - I lOVE port!

Jan - are you still cleaning up after the party???
 
Puppy playpen is still a diaster, but the cleanup from the party was surprisingly easy. Ron and I think that we should hold all of our dinner parties this way in the future.

No wine stains on the carpet and the virtual grocery bill............well, 'nough said.
 
LOL! I wish I could have joined in on the "virtual" party! Sounds like the best way ever to give a party! No dishes! And BYOB!

Thanks Jan, for bringing this to fruition! Did we beat the 88 online? Inquiring minds need to know!

I'm so glad you at least stopped by, Barb. I'm so sorry you had that migraine -- are you better now???
 
I missed the entire party! I was sick with a really good sinus infection. You guys drank wine and I love wine, but I was drinking Rock and Rye to disenfect my sinus track.

We went to Gatlinberg, stayed in a nice cabin, surrounded by weeds of course, then I went on a hayride with my kids, hay and weeds of course. Then my other little group said were going to the zoo, oh lets take a train ride (through the weeds). Then it rained all week. Wine would have been a good thing to add. Good light ale ain't bad either. Sounds like a wine tasting party, brands of beer/ale, and mixed drinks for the next party. Snacks?
Waterdown fruit punch for the shelties, just make it look like wine.

This was my first day I felt well and my poor puppers were on their own, except when the hub came home. Weeds, hay and rain don't get it.

Hopefully I catch up with you all the next time, sounds like a great dinner party, LOVE FISH!
