Just got new pics from the breeder. The little boys are 10 days old already! It's nice to see a little bit of their faces.

Don't have a clue which one will be mine - right now I think I could take all 3 home! :biggrin2:

All three are absolutely adorable!

I am so very happy for you, that one of these little fellows will be "your" little sheltie boy.

Thanks for sharing their pictures with us.

They are all so cute!!! Bringing up all three at once might be a bit much, but it sure would be tempting! LOL Will you get to choose which one is yours or will the breeder make the choice for you?

Not real sure on which one will be mine, or who will do the picking. I believe I am first on the list for a male. The breeder hasn't decided yet if she wants to keep one for future breedings.

When I told her I would probably go for the same titles that Trace had (CD & RE), she asked me to consider not neutering, and raise the one that she thinks has the best future breeding potential. I'm sure the titles look good on the paperwork - just not sure I want an intact male. (I posted a thread on that & got lots of replies...more undecided than ever now)

Would be easiest if she picks one for herself, and helps me get the best fit for our home. No matter which one I get, I am just so super-thrilled that the waiting & wondering is over. Now it's just waiting! :smile2:

Just realized now that it looks like a Post-It note in front of them - wow are they tiny!

We are hoping to be able to visit them when they are 6 weeks old - should be able to see some personalities then, I would hope.

When do you all think is a good time to ask to visit the puppies? We are camping this next week, but they will only be 3 weeks old - feel that's too early. The next best time for us would be when they are 6 weeks old. I'm thinking that's reasonable?

Six weeks sounds good...and hopefully the breeder will let you visit more than once so you get a really good overall chance to watch the pups interact with each other and with humans. A single visit can be very deceptive...a really pushy pup may be feeling tired that time and seem like the quiet gentle one of the litter that day. LOL Many breeders will do the choosing for you based on what you tell them you are hoping for personality-wise...so be 100% honest in describing the characteristics you like and those you don't. You probably already know all of this and I am sure you will love whatever pup you get. :smile2: What fun!!!
