13 yr. Old blk./wh. Norfolk Pound, MA Free

I have been wondering how Colby is doing. What I did was google where he is.

I googled Norfolk Massachusetts Animal Control and Shelter. Clicked on this and they are on Facebook. (I hope I am explaining myself okay, as I am not good on computers.)

If you read what is being said on their facebook, it sounds like Colby is doing pretty well, and is winning folks over. (even going to be on a commercial!)

I hope you fellow forum members are able to read about him like I was.

Let me know if you are.

I too was reading about Colby aka Marco. Poor little guy. Found wandering, disoriented, maybe blind ( not blind), patches of fur missing. Not taken care of.
They found who the owner was and owner surrendered him. He could have had the most beautiful coat but it had to be shaved. He may get adopted this weekend. May is the key word. Everyone there loves him including the ACO who says he has no time limit for his looking for a home. He is a star already -
The model for how to secure your dog safely in a car. Norfolk animal control people sound really nice. He has before and after You Tube videos. See all on facebook.

I emailed the Norfolk Animal Shelter and told them how impressed I was by the care and love given to Colby. They emailed me back and told me what a love he is. He had a few teeth pulled at his dental and tomorrow he is going to visit a potential forever home. These people at the Norfolk pound really care for the animals. What an inspiration they could be for other dog pounds. Colby couldn't have wound up in a better place until his forever home.

Yes, he is very fortunate to be at this pound.

I figured these folks cared, when in his picture they had a little jacket on him after he had to be shaved, took care of his skin infections and even set up a dental for him. And he had a complete check up. Sounds like everyone there fell in love with him. Shelties have a way of being able to do that.

Praying he gets his forever home tomorrow. (I think it is a neighbor(friend) of the lady that does their facebook that is interested in Colby. She will probably update on how he is doing.

I just read on Norfolk Animal Center Facebook page Colby is going to be on cable tv - A program called Jake the Vet tomorrow morning. (a New England cable network).
