20 days old today!

"Puppy boom" was exactly what I was thinking - didn't know if this was the norm or not. 5 years ago when I found my Trace I knew fairly little about Shelties - just tried to educate myself about this awesome breed as I awaited his arrival into our home. I never even considered searching out an on-line group like this.

I see almost daily posts about new puppies - so thrilled to be in the middle of it! I tried to be a good "mom" to Trace, and I know his liver issues were not because of anything I did wrong. I know he loved me, and he was my whole world.

But I do know that I now have more knowledge under my belt - thank you Sheltie Nation! I have gotten so many great tips from everyone here...housebreaking, general training, food, treats, grooming...you name it! And I hope to make my Trace proud by being an even better "mom" to the new sable boy.

Gotta stop typing before I start crying...

I'm sure you couldn't have been a better mum to Trace :hugs. I know what you're saying though, I didn't know about Sheltie Nation when our first sheltie was a pup and this time around with puppy #2 I'm learning so much from the forums, its such a great support.

Such beautiful little puppies, all 3 of them! Whichever one ends up being yours, it will be gorgeous.

the forum has only been around since 2008 so don't feel that bad about not knowing about it for your first puppies.
I got my first sheltie in 2006- she was an adult rescue so didn't need all the puppy info but later on (2010) it came in handy:winkgrin:
