2011 Nationals/Hotels

Yup, I'm lucky this year. This is the closest it's been to me since it was in Shreveport, LA. I don't remember what year, but it was only about an hour and a half. I'm not looking forward to 2013 though. The 2012 is in FL that's about 16 and a half hours from me. The 2013 is in CA that's about a 25 hours drive. I probably won't make that one....

Hold that thought for 2012. I'll have to see where my Dad is at the time. If he is going to be stationed near there then I might could go to that one. I wouldn't have to pay for a hotel room at all then. :biggrin2:

He keeps saying he is going to retire, but we will see. :rolleyes2:

I really wish there was a red roof. I really prefer to stay there for dog shows, since I earn points for free nights.
2011 is only a five hour drive for me. 2012 is about 13 hours, and I definitely won't be driving all the way to California for 2013.

Ok I booked my "hotel" im staying at jellystone park in a cottage, it actually seems like it would work out well with the dogs, it has a full kitchen and facilities and is about 15 min from the site. And has outdoor area where you can set up expens for the dogs and a porch..its $99 per night for a 2 bedroom cottage.

Oh, that's a good idea. How do you book for that? I may just try that myself. Plus, my boyfriend would probably like it too since he's the outdoorsy camping sort.
