Woohoo!! UDX Leg # 1 came Saturday! Yay! Sunday we weren't even close....lol! On Saturday his Open B score was 195.5. We won't talk about utility score.
Saturday we went to the ASSA Obedience trial, right down the road about 2 hours. Flyer crashed and burned on the first go out in Utility B, then missed an article, but had all the attitude I am so happy to team with.
His Open B was really nice, a wonky off front and finish but we qualified with a 193, not enough to place but he made me proud!
Our Masters run was going good up until the last sign, opps -10 for an 89.
The absolute best though was seeing Calliesmom and so many awesome shelties!
Awwww I’m so jealous! Dog shows have been non existent since last March of 2020. I miss the excitement and butterflies I’d get and all the wonderful dog people I’d meet at shows...I even miss getting up at 5 am to drive 2 hours to a show!
Glad you enjoyed yourself and the Flyer had fun...that’s the most important thing!
Yes- the ASSA was awesome. very small compared to normal years- less than 100 dogs in agility and smaller numbers in obedience and rally too.
I have to get the videos ready yet but I'll post them somewhere.....
It was great seeing Flyer, 2gooddogs and getting to meet Seger
while watching the Rally National yesterday, who did I see go into the ring but Flyer and his mama.....
just want to congratulate them on achieving 16th place in Rally Excellent- super awesome to be in the top 20
