You aren't kidding...the hardest part of this diagnosis is the "keep him quiet" order!! When I had to keep Barkley on three weeks rest I thought I would go nuts. I ended up crating him initially (he cried like crazy 
) then set up the x-pen in the house (he'd jump to get out of it 
) so finally I resorted to either barricading or putting pillows on all the surfaces he liked to jump on. Chairs, couches etc. were covered. I kept the bedroom doors closed so he couldn't jump on the beds. It's a pain, but it's worth it once you see them improve. You'll need a few weeks of rest though when it's over!!
