A Frame

Ashley, do you think a 4x4 would work to fix that problem on the top if dropped down in a diamond shape? I will have to measure it to make sure one would fit without a gap. The top peak would be sanded down and rounded out so it would not be so pointed.

That might work! The other thing about a pool noodle is that if the dog does choose to step on it it doesn't hurt, though they prefer to jump over it--hence teaching the flying over the apex.

Ah yeah that make since but I think that would scare Cleo to jump over the apex. She is already having a hard enough time using anything other than my clubs a-frame. She wouldn't go on the one I just made when it was set up the other day. She looked just as scared as she did at the last trial she was at with their a-frame. So I am sure it is a confidence thing. I am glad we made this and hopefully this will help cure her of her issue.

I ended up getting a 3.5" diameter pool noodle. It is an inch bigger than the rod I have in there now. I can not find a bigger good quality pool noodle so if that does not work I will try the 4x4 and see how that works.
