A glimpse into the future

I am contemplating leaving my job to become a stay at home puppy parent.
Lucky pico...
he started giving staring at me and then throwing me side eye at 3:45 as he wants his dinner.
It is at least an hour too early!
Is this my future?

Pico needs you all the time…and he’ll repay you with love!
I know my dogs love having me home (judging how they act when I come home)…and I hate to say it but I’m finally understanding what it’s like to actually be retired and to be able to do whatever I want…or don’t want to do.

I’ve taken to waking up early (6 am) so I’m feeding the dogs much earlier than 10 am…but their supper time is still around 4. No strange looks or bugging me to feed them early!

Oh, I am awake that early, but Pico gets breakfast when I leave for work (or after the beach....don't need him getting sick).

I am hoping for 2 months until freedom! And that will probably include a few sick days (of course I need a full day each for the dentist and the eye dr) and week of PTO.
