I think they are born an upside down dog or not. Fil started sleeping that way as a baby and still does. None of my other boys ever slept belly up.

I agree...Piper slept like this as a pup but stopped, Finnie never really did. We’ll see if it continues, I guess she sleeps with such abandon because she’s such an incredibly busy girl when she’s awake! If I’m home she rarely has a nap now.

Our very first breeder said her bedroom was lined with dogs upside down against the wall, sleeping! And yep, Skye also slept this way.

Cran likes to sleep upside down the most- at least at some point every day....
Dixie doesn't do it often.
Jocu- can't remember him sleeping that way
Destin does sometimes- I seem to see him doing it a little more since working at home..

Sprite, Ruffles and Flurry all sleep that way. Checkers and Lacey are way too dignified. I don't know about Misty yet because she's still in a crate at night. I think it's a hoot to see the little paws waving in the air!

That’s just hilarious to see them laying like that! So cute!

Della is the only one of mine who sleeps like that and I just figured it was because she's had puppies and it was probably the most comfortable way to sleep with a big belly. Kismet sleeps in a ball (Deska used to sleep like that too). According to my mum, Tully sleeps like a panda, not that she's seen ever seen a panda sleep and I'm pretty sure the red panda that mum thinks Tully looks like sleep in trees. Tully sleeps with her head rested on her front paws.
