A Sheltied Christmas!

Ann, I love the sheltie tree!

I just have a hand painted sheltie sleigh door ornament. I actually have two, but the other is at my parents' house. That other one has 3 shelties on it, a sable, tri, blue merle. I also have a sheltie angel ornament on my tree. I attached a picture of the hand painted sleigh.

Unfortunately there are no Sheltie Christmas trees left at Danbury Mint. :(

I did, however, order the 2012 Sheltie collector ornament (a Sheltie in a red car) and the Sheltie snow globe series. Looking forward to those items!

just got a mailer from Danbury Mint- collection of 4 sheltie pillows........
 
Over the holidays I visited a friend who's been a breeder for 40+ years. Her house is, literally, a Sheltie museum. She has Sheltie items I just drool over, and her Sheltie Christmas tree is simply breathtaking. She owns many hand-painted ornaments that are pure works of art!

DH thought it was a bit over the top, but of course, I loved it. Still, I promised I wouldn't try to copy my friend. :wink2:

My breeders home is like that too. She even had hand painted Sheltie tiles dispersed through the tiles on her Kitchen backsplash.
 
I love all the Sheltie decorations! I do not have any because I'm picky and won't get a sable, since I don't have a sable. I did notice that they have a lot of tri stuff now, but it's very rare I find a bi-black sheltie anything!

My grandma did get me a tri sheltie magnet a looooong time ago that looked very similar to my Jasmine. When I was younger, I kept it on a magnet board in my room. It would probably have gotten broken staying on my parents fridge because it's kinda heavy and breakable! So now I have it at my house, and it stays on my fridge, but only on the side (not the door) and I'm still kinda paranoid one of the cats will knock it off, but I want it to be visible and not in a box somewhere. I also wanted a special ornament for my tri Sheltie Angel Jasmine we had to say goodbye to this year, but things got kinda crazy this year and I just never got around to looking too seriously.

Etsy has a lot of cool Sheltie stuff if you ever get a chance to looking.. but it's not as "collectable" as the danburymint stuff.
 
One More!

I forgot to share this one! This is one of my very favorite Sheltie things...a holiday plaque by our Forum friend, Diane Troese, who did the caricatures for our home page. I have a few of her non-holiday plaques around the house too. Diane also does sweatshirts, tee shirts, PJs etc. They're fabulous!
