Has anyone tried this? Or researched it? I was in a hurry so didn't really investigate it but it looked cheaper than Frontline Plus....

Just wondering if anyone knew anything about it.

While no toxin is good for our furry animals, I think the main ingredient in this one -- Permethrin -- is extra dangerous. It's listed by the EPA as a low-risk carcinogenic -- low risk is still too risky for me! It's been linked to chromosomal damage, deformities, and blood abnormalities in varies animals.

This website has a list of ingredients in flea medicines and whether they're carcinogenic or not on page 6.

Thank you, Mary! I wouldn't have found that info on my own, I don't think!

You're welcome :) I have studied these medicines because I have animals who can't have them and I got really interested in how toxic they are since I found they messed with their brain. (They have a neuro issue and can't handle toxins)

Someone just posted this on FB today -- dog having an allergic reaction to a topical one. Think about what it's doing on the insides!

Best of luck!
