Yes, it is almost impossible to wait.

But a really good breeding is worth waiting for, it means everything, because a good puppy is a joy for many years.

A poor breeding, means many sorrows.

Now you know - how a good breeding is, then perhaps you might be lucky - if you continue searching
 
I think that whatever breed you choose, if you train them properly and by this I mean doing obedience training with a really good trainer then in the end you'll have a very well behaved dog. I started doing obedience training with my dog Piper (now almost 1 year and 4 months old) when he was just 4 months and have continued it up until 2 months ago and aside from the barking he is a very well mannered dog. He used to like to chew when he was teething and even now likes to chew Kleenex and shred paper but he mainly does this when bored and he's never touched my shoes. He used to have some behaviour problems (barked at everything on walks...kids on bikes, skateboards, decorations etc) but this was where the obedience trainer was able to help and now we can do our walks with no problem.
