again almost Qed

that's not even very far from where I am from in Germany...
we never had cool kids like u running around when I used to live there, lol

You crazy Europeans with yer whacky turns and tight courses!!!
lol

You guys rocked it, way to go!!!!
SHe does anything for you, she's a speed demon :biggrin2:

so, she didn't q?
I don't even see why?
In the first run she popped her weaves, but the second run, what went wrong??
Face and you are some of my favourite teams to watch, so keep those videos going, lol

thank you all :smile2:

unluckily here in Germany (and also in Austria, Switzerland, etc.) only the "agility run" (with contacts) counts for Qs to get to the higher class.
we also have refusals besides the faults.

a short statistic:
in our last 3 trials Face made in the jumpings (second run in the video) always no faults/refusals and was always placed 1.
in the important agility runs we always had only ONE fault/refusal, so we couldn't make a Q.

so she's just my personal jumping queen

Almost Q'ed

I still lve Face. She is a speed "Queen"!! I still think on your last video where the judge called you on something and you did not know what for I think Face hesitated by the threadle.I sure would love to see her compete against some of thetop shelties in the country here.:biggrin2:

thank you all :smile2:

Holy crap
You should come over here and compete!!!! You guys are so much fun to watch, I bet she would compete on top national level in NO time!
I totally agree with the others!!

Great runs! Keep 'em coming. Love watching you. :biggrin2:
I just find it really interesting how many handlers have very different style.... You're mostly directing Face from "behind" and me (and many handlers I know) are rather trying to stay ahead and leading a dog behind.... Though, I know how challenging it gets with a fast dog, maybe I'd be better off if I taught my lil' boy to run ahead, too.

It's nice what you mentioned about setting dog for "straight line to the tunnel" - I don't use that a lot, because I'm still learning, only been in agility over a year... but I see that a lot and yday we had guest trainer who mentioned some handling tricks, too - this was one of them.

Sorry that you didn't get Qs. It sounds different from CR. I thought that it's the same as we're neighbouring countries, but in CR we have like three types of runs -agility open, jumping and agility "exams". Open and jumping are built for everyone (therefore they are much more difficult for beginners to handle) and agility "exams" are for certain "level of difficulty". You can get to higher level only by succeding in agility "exams".

thank you all!!

it would really be interesting to compete in the USA. I think the courses are also a bit different like over here!?

@helps: yes, I handle a lot from behind, just because Face is slower, when I make crosses, which wouldn't be necessery and also often she's just to fast and I can't get in front of her, when I give her a direction in front of obstacles (like in the beginning of my first run in the video).

today we were on the trial of our club. unluckily we got ONE FAULT again  this time she really missed the entrance of the weaves, because I was to slow and my position was really bad, so she couldn't see the ways until she stood right in front of it *damn*

in the second run (jumping) I wasn't really focused. the dog that ran right before us had a crash with jump no 3 and was sreaming so loud. it was horrible!!! :dead:
as Face knocked the bar (or better said she felt into the jump) I broke off the run.
