Aggression in my sheltie: Please help!

So it is a Sheltie thing. You're right! It does make "mom" kind of nervous. I wonder if Asher could ever learn to play like he does with his brother towards other dogs. That'll be the day that I jump for joy and give him kisses haha

And don't get me wrong. Both of your stories are an unbelievable encouragement. I could have not asked for better advice. Thank you everyone!

Wowee! They play just like Asher and Bugsy! Just a little bit more mellow haha How old are they? And they're really cute by the way

thanks- I'm biased too as to how cute they are....
They turned 3 in November- littermates that I got 9 months apart in 2010:winkgrin:

I don't see any bias in that. They are a great pair. Oh wow so they're still pretty young. And act even younger haha

yes, the boy has no idea that he is 3 yrs old- he still plays and acts like a puppy a lot. people in my club keep telling me that he is still a baby and that I should be more patient with him growing up:yes:
of course, his sister is way ahead being the mature grown up girl that she is:winkgrin:

Boys always mature slower than girls huh? haha I've learned that my whole life

Cranberry is absolutely stunning! I couldn't see him close up in the video. His eyes are just like Asher's. Where the one blue eye pierces straight through you. Isn't it interesting how the blue gets lighter as they get older? The same happened to my boy.

Isn't Dixie just the little lady. She's so sweet. Does she rule the house? Those ribbons are almost bigger than she is. Wow! Is she a show dog or agility? Or obedience?

the shade of the eye is very dependent on the lighting and camera angle:winkgrin:

well, my old girl ruled the house but now that she is gone, the pups don't really seem to have any problems with getting along.
Those ribbons are Dixie's first place and her third leg of Novice Standard Agility (=title).
They both do Rally as well and have their RN titles- that story is here: http://sheltieforums.com/showthread.php?t=13743

Very true! I didn't think of it that way haha I'm not very good at taking photos by any means.

I'm sorry about your other dog. She must have been one great Sheltie to keep those two in line. Rally huh? I've never been to an actual competition, but I've seen videos and it looks like such a fun sport. Perfect for those dogs who can't stand a day without their trusty tennis ball. If Asher were better with dogs and sounds, he might actually enjoy that.

Those are great pictures with the judge and without! They sure know how to pose for the camera. But what Sheltie doesn't

thank you- Callie was special.
definitely look into Rally- it's a lot of fun:yes:
One of our other members, Chris, has had some success with her sheltie (Beckon) who had issues with other dogs and has competed quite successfully in Rally.
my pups are very good at posing for the camera:winkgrin:
