Agility Addicts Spring Camp 2016

Little man and I attended an agility camp this weekend.. 3 days of agility, ciders and wine, hanging out with friends, hiking and late night campfires. It was my version of heaven! Multiple time world team members Justine Davenport and Rebecca McKay were our instructors and the group of people that was there was amazing - super supportive, cheering you on with every success and helping challenge you. Cruz at 20 months kept his head on ALL weekend.. barely any baby dog moments! He is building speed, turning tighter, and is getting more consistent with his weaves and (dog walk) contacts. We are training a running a frame right now so our stopped A-frames were so-so. We are coming together as a team - so, so happy with the kid!

 
That is the perfect description of Heaven to me too. I wish we had an opportunity like that here too. And you guys looked awesome!
 
Looks like a perfect way to spend time, if you ask me! You guys look really awesome. I'm jealous of all the cool camps they have up your way! I watched 3/4 of the video at work and my boss caught me...oops! I'll have to try to watch the rest at home! :shameful:
 
We really are lucky! Justine, Jess and Rebecca come out here quite often for 2 and 3 day seminars but this is the first time it's been an overnight camp. Hopefully the first of many! It's great because they really get to see the progression of teams! And we always learn so much from them!
 
Wow, thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed watching this, lovely threadles!! Cruz is doing brilliantly for such a young dog!!
