Go Davy!! I entered Angus in novice jumpers and standard in May. Angus is so damn fast, jumpers is hard!! At least we can make mistakes! I'm learning how to correct those mistakes and keep going. Standard will be easier, there are stopsso 2 years ago, Davy was born during this agility trial (it was in a different location that year) but I thought it might be fun for it to be Davy's debut......
I entered him in Fast and Novice jww. I planned to do both runs as FEO (for exhibition only) when I entered but when I walked the Fast course that morning, I thought that we could avoid all the obstacles that he doesn't know how to do yet and do our own little course of just jumps and tunnel. we did it and got the send bonus so Davy's first run was his first Q and his first First place
we did do the jww run as FEO and only skipped the weaves as he's not doing those as well as I would like and I didn't want him to be stressed at all in the ring.View attachment 20761

Davy is faster than I thought he'd be so we are going to have to learn a lot of skills that I didn't need before
