Agility starter sets

I am not sure I am going to but did want some things around to keep him stimulated. My Sister doesn't think I'll be able to handler agility with all my back issues, we'll just have to see how things go. One training class at a time and we'll go from there.

i LOVE to hear that, agility is just so much fun!
We have a lot of elderly people doing agility here and others with real mobility issues, they are maybe never going to enter Nationals or Worlds, but can definitely do agility well!!!! They trained their dogs to do distance work, so a lot of them can run their dog without actually 'running'
Do don't let it discourage you and I am so happy to hear you're taking classes because it's such an awesome activity to do with your dog. You'll just get inventive in training if you realize what you can't do, then you're inventive enough to find alternate way of doing it anyhow!!!!

Anyone with the desire to do it can run agility. There is a man around here with a super fast Mal who he runs from a wheelchair, and then I have a friend who can hardly walk who also competes. She has taught her dog a lot of distance skills and he does just fine despite her limited movement

We have 2 people with MS running dogs at the place I go. One can not run at all and has a very bad limp. Her dogs has pretty good distance training already and she has only been training 9 months or so.

You don't need to be world team level to enjoy agility. One of my friends with Tervs, their breeder runs them from a scooter.
