I got some of it for treats fro Che as they were on terrific sale at the local dog show, little crumbly as treats but are ok, not tooo happy with content- Mc Donalds are not better than Taco bell after all even if I prefer to eat at Taco bell if I have to...
I have to say that it takes less than a minute for Che to swallow his chicken necks, slightly more if I hold one end so he chews it better...
his evening meals are not messy at all as I use monthly prepared and prepackaged patties, so taken out of the freezer, thawed and put into his bowl- same as kibble by the cleaniness factor IMHO...
good luck with trying new food! I find that Che is pretty easy on new brands of stuff- I get occasional promotional bags of different kibble, like Orijen, Acana, Natural ??? etc- he never noticed difference...
funny story- I taught Che "stay" command and "find it" by using his chicken necks. I would put him in stay and then go outside, close the door or go to the second floor and hide his bowl... etc... he got really good at it and we recently demostrated our stay for everybody during our obedience class...
I taught him heeling while using kibble outside during our walks.... he does very good heeling inside or outside but with kibble...
I tried to do heeling with his chicken necks and he would not do it!!!!
have to keep chicken neck bowl in one hand and kibble in another to make him do it.... talk about dogs not being able to generalize....
