An x-pen for Mia

I got the north states one for indoors, I did however score and purchased it at a tag sale for under $20, and FYI babies r us sells the same one!! I also have the metal ones for shows and outdoors but like the plastic one for indoors since it doesnt slide and make that horrible noise on the tile!!:eek2:

I also think your going to have to get the boys neutered, its just much safer and easier to have them done that take any chances.

The Xpen was a great compromise for Bacca when I knew he was house-trained but not necessarily chew trained.

I would put his soft-sided crate inside the Xpen. It allowed him water and toys, without spilling into his crate.

I always felt bad though, because during that time, Indy was confined to crate only. Not because he was bad...but because I did not have room for two Xpens.

I also use (for inside) the Northstar playard. They have them for kids. Do you have a kids consignment store by you? Or a garage sale? I pick mine up at yard sales for super cheap. Also check craigslist.

We have a similar metal one that we used outside when my girls were pups. It is great, I don't know what I would have done without it for puppy training, however I would NOT recommend it for indoor use. It would likely scratch your floors and they are quite heavy and awkward to move around. I would also worry about it falling over. It stands up well in grass or on dirt but I don't think it would be as stable on a smoother surface.

The plastic one everyone is mentioning, made by North States would be way better for indoor use.

I love the pen for the pups and I think I will continue using it for whichever pup we keep. It's nice to give them space but at the same time confine them. I would think with Mia it would be great!! :) I got mine off CL and just hosed it down before using it... it was only $20!

oh boy! Look what I just found~

Yep..silly boy Jasper has found the gate open on Mia's x-pen,and was making himself quite comfy.

He is so very silly, but he plays those seductive eyes...((please mom))
