Angus is missing

Thanks to everyone for being so nice. If it is a dog, it is a deal, but if it is a Sheltie, it is a big deal! He hasn't been found but it dosen't mean we aren't looking. I hope to go by the campgrounds in that area this weekend and chat with those people. If Janet is going to get a break on vacation for a few days, we will look and keep her posted, I just know he is trying to work his way back to her. I will go write my "discovery of Angus story" this past weekend. Sheltie Boyz Remember 9 p m tonite..................

Thanks maybe I will get the info. soon. I did alert Sarge Rescue in Waynesville this morning and tried to get more info. there but it was a dead end. Angus did not have a collar on when we saw him. I am 99% sure it was Angus. He was last seen (Monday nite) in the Hemphill area off Jonathan Creek, so that could have led to Maggie Valley. Lots of mountains there and he was running like lightning.

I am talking with Janet right now

Lets not all get excited..as there are a few loop holes that are not being discussed here.

Forgive the frankness,but it has been 5 days since you had possession of Angus.Was it with you that he slipped his collar while he was b eing walked on a retractable leash?

From my understanding Angus has been thru 3 families before he settled with your family,of which he was in your home on Monday.Why have you had no conversation with Janet,only waiting till today to post and inquire here.

Every shelter,every emergency vet office,every rescue,not to mention FaceBook,Craigslist,NC compassionate pets organization..every one had info on Angus.So just today,we find out that Angus has again escaped while walking on a leash.
From what I am to understand,he has been mixed up in barbed wire,so many particulars,and we need answers.Angus is out there,thin,tired,and he needs to come home to Janet.

If there is any additional info,please please,get in touch with Janet.Lets all work together here to bring him home.

I hate to be a downer,but aqfter just talking with Janet,she is at work,frustrated,tired,and she wants to bring her boy home.

Any comments..feel free to PM me,And if you need a phone number etc..info,please PM me privately.I'm not posting to be bashed here,and I'm not trying to make anyone upset.But there is more to the story than is being said here.

Let's try not to allieante someone before we know all the answers. Accusatory posts aren't going to help bring Angus back.

SheltieBoyz, thank you for contacting Alan and Janet. I pray you'll continue to help them find their boy. We're like a family here and when one of us hurts, we all do. We've all been so upset about Angus.

Just today on the way home from work, I had tears streaming down my cheeks thinking about him. I put my little Meggie in his place and think of how scared she would be and how frantic I would be and I just can't contain my tears and fears.

Let's all continue to work and pray together to bring Angus the final leg of his trip home!!

Somehow I didn't get all the posts from afterSheltie Boyz initial posting?? Now after I called Michele and posted below they showed up. So I'm just learning some of the news now. Just what's going on?? Poor Angus escaped again ?? Oh my I'm so confused.:cry:
Please come home Angus, my heart is just breaking.:cry:
 
Elaine...the people who may have seen Angus have gotten in touch earlier today with Janet. If you read some of the earlier posts it will explain just where they think they saw him. Keep praying that this is Angus and that he finally makes it home to Janet and Allen.

Yes...apparently someone (or 3 different families) had Angus for about 5 days and he got away again (slipped out of his collar) on Monday. He is on the loose yet again :(
