Annie is 15 today!

Omg i saw that page in shelties online! Never occrred to me it was a dog on here! I was so imlressed by her age i sent it to my mom and it made us so happy seeing her so beautiful and healthy a d competing at 14!

Congratulations! 15!is a landmark bday in my eyes a celebration Of life and a real feeling of "we made it". 15 is always my goal with dogs. Ao i am happy for the two of you.
 
Happy Birthday to one of the most special Shelties ever...the sweet and still lovely Annie! Keep collecting those egg whites! :biggrin2:

Annie was the first dog I trained by myself, from the ground up: leash breaking, free stacking, table, gaiting, all of it. We always joked that showing her was like driving a Porsche: perfectly responsive, smooth and powerful. I figured I must have been a pretty good trainer! But as the years have passed, and I've trained and handled other dogs (and Miss Cocker!), I figured out that really, Annie deserved all the credit.

She loved (loves - you should have seen her haul me over to the ring at the National this year!) being a show dog. I feel so incredibly fortunate to have been able to take one last "go around" with her in the big ring.

Thank you all for your sweet comments and happy wishes. Hug your pups, we're so lucky to have them in our lives.
 
I'm a little late, but Happy Birthday sweet little Annie, I'm sure you got all the treats and presents you wanted. I love this sweet little senior face, you are just so beautiful and, congratulations on your wins, way to show them whose boss in the ring! :hugs
