Another thread about martingales

Is there a place online that I can buy a plain flat leather martingale with a chain tightening part? I'd prefer it to be an adjustable one, but not with a snap or a buckle.

I really don't want to buy one printed with a lot of stuff (it's not as if you can see it anyway) and I love the look of smooth leather. I've seen a few braided ones posted in this forums, but I'm still looking around.

Oooh. Those aren't bad at all.

I may pick some up at petsmart and go from there.

I don't know. i'm really considering getting a leather leash as well. I started the boys off with nylon ones and switched to retractables (but I lock it well before they get anywhere near the end so they're no where but close to me). I'm not really a fan of how it's changed Luka's walking habits. He seems to pull more.

Definitely go with the leather leash. My trainer recommended I get one and it was one of the smartest dog related purchases I made. A good quality leather will soften with use and it is so much easier on your hands than nylon. Mine is 6 feet which I feel gives enough freedom while still allowing me to quickly shorten it if I need to bring Ainsley quickly to me.

Silaria,

The rolled leather collar in the second link is nice!

And I also recommend a leather leash. I bought soft braided leashes from Germany for my boys. They were expensive - about $25 each, but like was said, so soft they don't scrape at all.
