Another weekend of agility

Nice job, I can even tell that those courses are tougher than what you've posted in the past. You'll just have to work on giving directions a bit earlier.

I'm glad you posted about his stay at the beginning of JWW, because that's the first thing I noticed! Good boy!

Looks like I may have figured out when he breaks his stay. Like he did on standard, but that's because I wasn't watching closely. I figure, even though I have to watch closely, it also teaches him he needs to listen to me too. :)

Oh yeah. Definitely the hardest Excellent courses I've come across since getting into Excellent back in March.

Who was the judge? I couldn't see her face, but it looked like Jan Skurzynski. If it was that's the same judge I had last week. Her courses are difficult, so I didn't feel bad about not q'ing. I really like her, she's a lot of fun.

That's the thing with Ex, the courses are more difficult and you have to run completely clean. Even really experienced handlers and very seasoned dogs don't q all the time. :smile2:

How funny. It was Jan. And yes, her courses were very hard. So were the other judge's (Edie Allyn). Don't get me wrong, they were great courses, but the most difficult since I've gotten into Excellent. I like a challenge and JWW today was definitely it.

I guess I was hoping for at least 1 Q this weekend. We almost got it, but it's okay. Koji still had good days. It just shows me how much work I need on my handling. Especially since Koji decided to become more obstacle independent.

Wow. I just got my post-show report. They're fast! I'm bummed that it's NQ, NQ, NQ, NQ. Oh well, I'll take the great things Koji did and pretend I didn't see the bad (until practice when we can work on things again).

BTW, I wanted to say that Tien Tran was there shooting again. I am going to email her to see if she got any of Koji on Sunday. Looked like she was shooting the weaves. We did do them during that horrible run (granted, they were off, but you can't tell in a photo).

Must email her when I get home.

I love her pictures so much. She truly is an amazing photgrapher.I have a few of Shadow she took. There are only two other photgraphers that I like aroound here. One is Lesley Mattuchio but I wont buy anything from her anymore because she no longer does 4x6's.She will do 5x7's and up and she wants 20.00 for a 5x7.She says 4x6's arent worth her while. Her loss and my other favorite is Jeremy Kezer.:biggrin2:
