The reason I'm asking is because three local Western PA training facilities, including the one I belong to, just got approved to host APDT Rally trials. One is scheduled for September and one for November. I'm not sure when the 3rd one is yet.
If they dumped their Rally program, why would APDT be approving organizations to host trials?
Please post a link to where you saw they were discontinuing their Rally program.

Trainer at our facility is also a APDT judge, I have to ask for exact link but rally has changed ownership. We were assured that nothing has changed in the rally itself so all scores one earned etc will remain the same and rally will going on just with different ownership. Supposedly decision on dumping rally is based on APDT stating that dog sports are not part of their core mission just "pet" training.
