Good luck with the poop eating thing. I'm not sure any of the supplements work. We had a doxie who was a poop-eater and nothing ever worked. Changing his diet helped to a point. His was more caused by a mental thing that he knew where he was supposed to go and if he went other areas in the yard or happened to poo in the house, he'd clean up after himself. I had to clean up poop immediately and never let them out on their own. It got dreadfully bad when he aged - and instead of going for poopsicles - he'd go for the fresh out of the oven option, often standing at Kooper's rear to catch them as they came out. That about did me in! Grosses part of dog ownership if you have a poop eater, imo, stomach curdling...
Deacon will not eat dog poop, but if he finds fox or deer poo in our yard, he's in 7th heaven at what he considers a delicacy - his stomach does not as he often gets sick after. I now wander the property and scoop all sorts of stuff. Thankfully, the deer don't come into the lawn area where we most often bring the dogs to potty so it's only pre-frisbee playing that I need to scour for delicacies. We work hard on LEAVE IT!!!! He loves worms in the road as well - walking him after rain is a challenge of seeing stuff before he does.
