Mine is 4 months old and while he may have the odd accident in the house he's pretty much house broken but I believe every puppy is different. I like others have a bell that Piper rings to go outside (I went to Peavy and picked up a sheep bell that I hang near the door). It's a great way to teach them the connection of doing their business outside. Before I put the bell up Piper had lots of accidents in the house but once the bell was up he got better and better at ringing it. Now he's ringing it every time he has to go outside.
