Awesome Practice!

Bentley and Zoey were amazing in class last night. They were both spot on. Even the instructor commented on how well they're doing with the weaves. (I know Sharon said to just give it time. ;-))

I so wish I had video of Zoey breezing through the practice course and weaves AND of her falling off the dog walk (ouch!) because she was distracted by dogs playing outside the facility (the overhead door was rolled up for air flow). I couldn't get to her fast enough to break her fall, but she seems okay.

We just got the dates for the next set of classes and realize that we can't make all of them, so we're going to get with one of our classmates Gail and practice one evening each week with her. It'll be like having our own mini-camp!

Great news!

My girls are really coming along as well. It is fun when they make huge strides in their progress.

Agility is addicting. Be forewarned!

Way to go! That is awesome the you guys are doing so well.

I also really wish you could video them to see how far they've come along. Maybe you'll find a classmate with a camera willing to record them for you at some point.

Anyhow I'm looking forward to reading about their progress in your mini-camp practices :smile2:.

P.s: sounds like Zoey is gaining good confidence with agility! I found it helped a lot with my reactive Kyara.

Its great when you have a paticularly good one, Stormy & I had an awesome one on friday night last week, I was like on cloud nine when we wrapped it up, then at Mondays class she started off awesome and the about 30 minutes in decided that Dad wasn't that much fun anymore, and that she would rather go play with Macy the BC, or anyone else that would bite into her game. She need a couple of time outs to get refocused.

Which wouldn't have been all that bad except she had been out in the backyard all afternoon running and hee hawwing with my sister's new pup and should have been ready to work.

Glad to hear that Bentley and Zoey had such a great day--way to go!

And don't worry too much about her falling off the dogwalk. She will be more careful next time (I have a video somewhere of Lexi falling off, then getting into her 2o2o at the end, haha!)

And don't worry about not being able to make each practice. Sometimes it's good to get out and practice on your own.
