Awesome Vet visit

Well today I saw the best Vet visit ever. Teddy saw Dr. Margaret who he loves.
She sat on the floor and craddled him and played with him an gave treats for first 5 minutes. Teddy was so relaxed that he held his front leg out straight and the Vet Tech. got the blood draw and the Doctor did a complete exam. and gave him his Rabies booster (The one thing she won't titer for.). She answered my question about when to do GBM. She thinks when he is 5 we should start yearly ultrasound tests, but was open to doing it sooner if I wanted. I was in awe how well Teddy did. I have never had a visit like today's ever.
P.S. He made his target weight of 25 lbs. today. :)
 
That is just great news and what a wonderful vet! Mine don't get on the floor but our main vet, a woman, is fabulous with the Shelties, gives them LOTS of treats and goes over them very gently and with a soft voice. Faith and Meadow actually don't mind going in to the office at all, Elijah is a bit more worried. Glad to hear Teddy made his target weight also, good job Ron!
 
That sounds like an awesome visit and a great vet! My vet has gotten down on the floor when Finnie was younger…Finnie has mellowed with age (he’s 4) but he used to be much more anxious. It’s so nice to see a vet who goes above and beyond!
