Baby Mango

I sent Mango's breeder/foster mom a photo, and she sent me photos of Mango right after she was born!

She also gave me a few photos of mom, her agility dog, and dad, the pup she was fostering, who now has a loving home of his own.

(makes me very sad to know we'll never have these of Honey :( ) When we got Mango I had some very sad moments seeing how much she craved contact with us, knowing Honey was at that petshop since she was that age behind glass. I mean I can't ever actually regret going in there that day, I can't imagine life without her (my pretty beautiful little girl who spends so much of her life reminding me how fun my life is) But I wish sooooo much she had had as nice a home as Mango did when she was growing. Mango got to grow up in a nice big pen with three kids petting and snuggling her, lots of grown up dogs to show her the ropes, chickens...

Anyway, a depressing tangent. Wasn't Mango a cutie!

Mango was adorable!

I agree -- it's good to know some history behind our rehomes/rescues. Here's Annie Laurie's first family saying goodbye.

Such a sweet little dumpling face!

You don't have the pictures of Honey. But you have the years of love with her that have made up for her rocky start.
