Bacca, my boy...has crossed to the bridge....

Oh Barb, I'm so sorry to hear you loss. Tears are flowing here. I almost couldn't believe it when I read the title. I was thinking "It has to be another dog named Bacca!" I was praying and hoping so much he would get better, and be with you as you go through already difficult times. But he knew it was time. They always do. Prayers of peace and joy to you and Indy.:hugs

Rest in peace Chewbacca, run free with Timber until your mom comes for you.

Barb - I am so sorry for your loss. Bacca was a loved boy and so lucky to be loved and cared for by you. RIP sweet Bacca xxx

Thank you forum!

Over the 5 some years that I've been on this forum, I have often taken it for granted, sometimes I've been not so nice in my comments and opinions (and I apologize to EVERYONE that I ever offended along the way). And I don't stay on top of every thread, so I know there are many dogs and owners that I've not really met yet. Yet, you all came out anyway to help me with my grief.

But to have my pup remembered in so many personal ways by so many of you. Randi remembering my pup as Eeyore, for instance and Chris's lovely prayer.

This forum was and is a lifeline for me....as I was raising Bacca, and while I was going through death and job trauma and buying my pet store. Such a wonderful escape and so many laughs.

You are wonderful people, and I thank you for remembering my boy.

Barb, you have friends here everywhere you look who love you and the boys and look past anything that may have happened in the past. Even you and I didn't exactly get off to the best start if you'll recall.:wink2: But that's all over and I love to think of us as friends.:hugs

Hugs! and Thanks! Indy and I sitting close tonight.....

This is such sad news, to be away when he passed. But as others have said, i wonder if he waited for to leave to spare you the pain of saying goodbye? Condolences to you and I hope my Shelties Sammy & Arie were with the crowd that has gone ahead to greet Bacca.
