Baker says hello!

Perhaps you could pick up the torch and do weekly updates? It's fun to look back at how much they really do change in just a year. Enjoy that puppy stage and the gangly teenage stage too -they go by really fast!

I have been posting pics every Saturday since we got Baker at 8 weeks. I was just thinking people were getting tired of seeing "another Baker post". But he seems to have more than one "fan" out there, so I'll keep it up.

Mainly I am taking the pics for my own benefit. After losing my Trace at 4 1/2, I looked back and regretted not having as many photos as I thought I had. It was easy when we first got him: pics at 9, 10, 11, 12...16 weeks, but then we sort of slacked a bit. I liked what you did with Hanna, so my goal is to have a weekly photo of Baker's journey into adulthood...and praying well beyond 4 1/2 years old.

Actually, hubby does the early am shift most of the time, and I do the late night. Right now Baker is sleeping until about 5:45 am.

I did the scale tonight (with Baker & without) and there was about a 6.5 lb difference. Since the same method indicated 5 lbs at 8 weeks and he was actually 3.2, I don't really trust it. We'll get an actual weight on Monday at the vet.

Tried to see how tall he is - wiggly boy seems right around 10 1/4 ". No idea where that puts him on the charts...

Photo was taken as he was impatiently waiting for supper to be served tonight.

Like I said from the git go, Baker has this wide open innocent gentle expression. One of Cubby's sisters had it too. It is beautiful and heartwarming.

Lacey makes it too about 6:00 these days. I'm good with that. We take her out between 10:30-11:00 and then put her back to bed. She naps a lot during the day now too. Growing is "hard" work!
