Barking at dogs on tv

Good luck--Bentley has been doing this forever. Has no idea that it's coming from the TV. He runs from room to room trying to find the dog!

This is rather funny. My dogs bark at videos I have taken of them barking and even the sound of a FooPets game I play with my adopted dog there. I get hysterical with laughter when they do this, and this drives them crazy. As soon as I start laughing they will look at me and leave the room all put off with me.
After 10 years I have just given up trying to rationalize with a dog since they primarily react on instinct. If you so not want your dog not to bark at just the TV noise of barking then they will just stop barking at anything since they are just reacting by instinct to what they are hearing regardless of where it is coming from

Megan does the same thing, but then again she barks at EVERYTHING!!!!!
Today is one of those days where I have had to step up all her commands to distract and keep her from barking at everything. She has been exercised and exercised, played with etc..
I mean, how dare the neighbors behind me attempt to enjoy their backyard pool without my dog barking her FOOL head off

I have one who does this, but since I listen in surround sound he doesn't know where the sound is coming from. So instead of barking, he stands there and tilts his head 90 degrees to one side, then the other. It's very cute.

I can't tell you how many times I've said this exact thing! Or how dare the neighbors cat walk through his own yard!!! Maybe it's something about dogs whose names are Meg!!!!
