Barking management

Sadie knows the 'hush' command, but she's taken to not listening to it.

I've had more success with the water bottle today. I gave her a lot of praise when my husband came home and she stayed and did not bark her head off. She glowed at the praise and has been fairly quiet today, so I'm hoping that she's gotten the point.
 
Right now Bailey only barks when she wants something. Like when she wants you to play with her. I'm hoping she stays this way...

That's how it starts ;)

That's the only time Toffee does it too, he JUST wants to play/kick the snow or throw the ball ALL THE TIME, lol :eek2:

I know I am speaking WAY too soon, but so far I have only heard Kai'a bark once, and that was when she was playing in the yard and heard the next door neighbor talking to her dog.

One small, quick YAP, and then a sort of snort and she turn and ran into the house.

that is what my posts looked like prior to Toffee's 'maturity' I was like, oh he knows the quiet command, he's very good, never goes and has the Sheltie spins/crazy bark LOL
I love how naive I used to be :) Hope Kaia stays that way for you, tho :wink2:
