Barking while at work

Well it looks pretty quiet now at 7:30 am PST! What a great idea, I would not get anything done at work because I would be watching my shelties all the time!:lol: Even worse, I tend to be a bit forgetful and with my luck I would forget to turn off the web cam and then we would be our own reality show! Not good!:lol:

The Ustream software turns itself off after so many hours, so there's never a problem with forgetting to shut it off. Its always turned itself off by the time we get home. :smile2:

They've been pretty quiet all morning. So nice to see Toby and Ginny so relaxed! If there are construction or city trucks near our house then Toby hasn't felt bothered by them at all. Hooray! :biggrin2:

The real test will be to see how they are after 3pm EST, when all the neighborhood kids are coming home from school and there's more traffic sounds.

So I've set up the sheltie cam again so I can spy on them when I'm at work. :smile2:

I'm curious how much barking is going on during the day since there is a lot of construction going on in my neighborhood and the telephone poles are also being replaced. They SEEM pretty relaxed when I get home so I don't think they're getting too upset, but I guess we'll see. :smile2:

All I see is three knocked out shelties :sleepy:....so cute!

My daughter lives in a condo and had complaints to her HOA about her dog barking during the day. The HOA was going to fine my daughter and her hubby. They did the web cam thing and discovered that their dog wasn't barking for more than 5 mintues total in a 9 hour stretch. They took the evidence to the HOA meeting and the whole issue was dropped.

That's great! Gotta LOVE technology.

The web cam has been SO useful to me. I'm not sure if I would have gotten to the root of our problems with Ginny without it.
