Basic Questions on Vibrant Pets

I wish I lived where you do....six laser treatments here cost me $240! They worked for Pixie (who is severely arthritic in her front elbows) for a few rounds but then not so much. Now I'm using Adequan injections for her with Vibrant Pets and some holistic supplements and she's doing much better.

I agree with Chris -- Vibrant Pets is a great product and my dogs have really benefited from it. I hope it helps your Chance.

I don't want to hijack the thread, but I'm completely unfamiliar with laser treatments. For arthritis, I guess? What exactly does it do for dogs and how does it work? Vet's never mentioned lasers to us when discussing Fasb's arthritis (he's doing pretty well on Adequan shots and Cosequin).

This explains it better than I could.

Many vets don't have the equipment to do this because it is expensive, but it's becoming an increasingly popular option for treating everything from arthritis to wound healing and muscle strains. It helped Pixie quite a bit at the beginning but lost effectiveness over time. She's doing well now on Adequan shots. She also gets several holistic supplements for arthritis.

Lil' Lady will be 9 the end of December. The vet and I discussed her thyroid, he put her on meds and within 3 months she is back to normal.

As Ann said thyroid meds are cheap and they work. I was really thrilled, she is
doing great.

I just moved Gavin (9) to reduced fat food (Wellness Core) so I am going to move him to vibrant pets senior, too.

I e-mailed Lee and asked him about the difference between senior and joint and muscle. I get the impression he is working on the website to better distinguish them cause the ingredient lists don't look much different. But he recommended the senior supplement.

I switched my three seniors to the VP Senior last year and I did see a difference. I think there's a bit more in it than the Joint and Muscle, which mine had also been on.

Good to know...Gavin doesn't have any real issues yet, but on days he overdoes it (like trips to the beach, where he barks like a little fool :) he gets a little gimpy for a day from muscle soreness.

Course, you would never guess it!
