In other news.... since the breeder never contacted us that a puppy was available, we added another Siberian Forest cat to the house... meet Jasper....

He is a hoot.. crazy at times (I wanted to name him Norman after Norman Bates)... yet settles down and is a blob at others. But he is a very relaxed, chill blob when he is a blob and he is a blob who LOVES my husband! He is a beautiful kitten although this does not reeflect that at all. Does reflect his 'blob' state!

Boys are just now starting to play with him. They don't understand cat play and are most often terrified of Gizmo, our other Siberian.

Deacon and Brodie look great after their bath! Love the photos of your new addition…Jasper is a great name and what a cutie he is! I bet the boys will have lots of fun playing with him! So nice to see cats and dogs co existing!
My dogs are all in dire need of a bath! Your post got me thinking…I have a utility tub I use to bath the dogs (I put it in the bath tub)…I think I’ll get working on getting it installed in my laundry room so I can just bathe them there and turn half my basement (it’s divided in the middle with the stairs and a doorway) into their grooming area. I hate having to drag everything out when I need to give them a bath!
I’m currently working on downsizing and removing a lot of excess furniture. My street is currently closed and I don’t have access to my garage to park my car…timing is everything lol. Everything is going in there to be sold.
My mom didn’t believe in getting rid of things. I have a dresser her father made…it’s probably close to 100 years old (that I will keep) as well as a lot of other pieces of furniture!

I bathe in my kitchen sink... it's deep and has a great sprayer. I have a utility tub in our basement, but I blow them dry out on the deck which is just on the other side of the kitchen window. I bought a grooming vacuum this winter cuz it got SO cold and it allowed me to keep up with their combing and brushing inside. It isn't like an amazing tool, but does help and the dogs don't mind it like the blower because it is very quiet. I used the vacuum pre-bathe, did all the trimming first (ears, feet, nails, poop shoots) and then bathed them and blew them dry with my blower. Amazing that I still got so much fur after. The pile is a combo of what came from the vacuum and what didn't blow away. I can't imagine using a blower inside, but wow, amazing what it allows me to get out of the coats.

OT - my mom grew up very, very poor. I always wondered if that led to her keeping stuff. It took years to downsize. Then when dad sold the huge house and went to half the space, another downsizing occurred.
