Thanks for the info. And thanks so much for this forum.
I do not need any more sheltie quirks or even the chance for some.
It is going in the garbage as we speak!!! If there is a 2% chance...I am not taking it!!
I really meant to share something that was great!!! not harmful to our dogs and I apoligize for that profously!!!

We've been using a laser pointer in our house for 3 years now with no ill effects. Its great for snowy days when its too cold for them to go outside. :smile2:

You can actually find a laser pointer in Family Dollar for $1.00 in their pet section that works fantastic.

My little goofball doesn't require a pointer he likes to chase the flash light as well, which can be both entertaining and frustrating at the same time. Especially when I'm using it to pick up his poo.

Yes, Sadie likes flash lights also. I keep telling my DH not to play with the flash night with her for the same reason, she ends up dancing on everyone's poo. :dead:

Everett loves his "Red Dot" He has been chasing it for years; no ill effects. We don't get extreme with it, and limit him with how long. I wouldn't throw it away, just use it as a occasional toy/ When we dig ours out of the drawer, Everett looks down at his paws waiting for it to appear.
I use to stand in the center of a long hallway and Everett would run down to moms room chasing it, then back and past me to the other end of the house, and back again. When he was in full run, I would shut it off and he would do the circuit 2 more times chasing a light that wasn't even on...
