I just use a small (5-inch) pair of straight scissors. If you don't have a steady hand you may want a pair with a rounded tip.

I have the little beard trimming scissors with round tips that I got from CVS.

I use a small round tipped scissor and an electric razor.

We use our Who Ha clippers, lol. Oreo says, what? I don't have that. All kidding aside I use a mix between beard scissors and electric ones.
