Big Puppy

Owner of two 18+ inch, 30 lbs + boys!

While I love the more refined Sheltie look, I've got what I've got! Of course, I finally found out that 50% of Indy's body weight and bulk was fur. And yes, he needs another brush out - again!
 
Welcome from another member of the big beautiful boy club, Mikos is 18" and 30lbs of handsome blue merle!
 
I have a female Sheltie puppy who was born on May 17th.. and she is about 10 lbs right now.. Her parents are 12" and 13" inches tall and small around the waistline, lol. She has gone through a growth spurt in the last two weeks, gaining about an ounce a day. She looks fit and I don't think its abnormal for her. She is in a interesting teenage stage, all legs and so fit. I wouldn't worry!!
 
My Danny is a big beautiful boy who had aspirations of being a real Lassie. After we got him at 9 months old we changed his food and his home environment was a big improvement so he got a growing and growing. He weighs 40 lbs. And isn't chubby just Lassieish.
 
Our rescue Cody boy is also a rather large sheltie, he's an 18 inch 33 pound boy. There's nothing wrong with it. xD

Cute pix! Our big girl Asta is 18 inches tall and about 29 pounds. I just checked her puppy records and at 14 weeks she was 11.8 pounds. Welcome to the Big Sheltie Club! I love 'em this size, myself. More to love! :lol:
