I found this recipe online when looking for a cake recipe for Finnie's birthday.
Substituted pumpkin for the banana and peanut butter (out of both) and used less water. I had enough batter to fill a 6" cake pan and with extra batter I added more oatmeal (I used ground oats) and made dog cookies to decorate the sides.
I also put skewers and toothpicks in some of the unbaked cookies that I will use to decorate the cake after.
We'll see how it all comes together for his birthday on Friday. To ice it I'm going to use Greek yogurt that I'm straining and will add meringue powder to stabilize.
