Bacca and I are crossing our fingers and toes too!
I've been holding back on doing more extensive testing hoping that the milk thistle and reducde protein diet would stabilize him. It seems to work most times. But Bacca has gone into his yearly cycle of lethargy. He moves slow, sometimes won't eat his food, turns his nose at his usual treats, etc. Sometimes I call him to me or try to interact him in play and he just stares at me.....It's early to have his blood tested, but I'm thinking of having him done early.
