Bladder problems?

We had a good night, he didn't ask to go out after 8:00 and we went out for the first time this morning at 6:00. He is much more comfortable, not pacing, the pain meds are really helping.

Yesterday when my tears and fears subsided we leashed up and walked two laps at the park. All was normal, except for more frequent and longer lasting pees.

He's eating eagerly, responsive to my every word, he's my Bobby. {{{{Bobby}}}

Today, will not be gloom and doom but hope that they are wrong, that it is something easy like a UTI. Holding onto hope... but not my cash. We are $$$$ into this episode with certainly more to come.

A facebook aquaintance is sharing her recent experience with me, her dog was diagnosed with cancer and she almost put her to sleep. She didn't and the dog is back to her crazy old self and they are living each day in the minute - not dreading the inevitable. I hug her for that, that's exactly what we will do if the vet is right.

I sure hope the is wrong. I'll know more, after the ultrasound tomorrow and results of the blood labs. then I can always get a 2nd opinion...

Praying your outcome is positive. We have a similiar experience as your facebook acquaintance; A few weeks ago our we were told our Miss Maddie has cancer. We brought her home and fully expected to be back at the vet office in a couple of days to put her down. We started to cook for her and she is eating up a storm, and acting like a pup again, zoomies and all! We are enjoying each day with her and not dwelling on what will happen.

Emotions crashing around...

I dropped him off for the ultrasound this morning and a block away from the office they called and the specialist cannot come today. I turned around and picked Bobby up and took him home until tomorrow when we try again.

Bobby is urinating much better now, and I tried to call this ultrasound off, but after a talk with the vet, and some blind trust, we are going to have the ultrasound and some answers tomorrow!

Pins and needles and all the emotions running rampant. I feel sorry for those close to me....

Oh gosh so sorry to hear about Bobby's trouble. Maybe, since he's better he passed a small stone or something. Dogs do have prostates and it can be an issue in an older un-neutered male.

Really feel for you - had a nightmare issue with a serious kidney infection with my Asta Mae, I was in pieces some days. Hugs to you and Bobby. The ultrasound will hopefully give you peace of mind. :hugs

I'm happy to hear that Bobby seems to be doing better. I'm crossing my fingers that things look good on the ultrasound tomorrow.
