Blue Buffalo FYI-recall????

If you will notice on the website though, it says that the bags they were looking at were:

April 2010 with a best-used-by date of July 2011

Although some people who commented on that website at the bottom suggest that the company added some kind of rice product to the food not listed on the ingredients list that had been part of another recall.

Oh your certainly welcome.I found it quite interesting as well.And really for alot of folks,one would never think that it would cause any harm by dumping straight into the bin.

At the time the link had been posted,we were feeding TOTW,and would always get a new bag before the previous variety was gone.Since we would rotate flavors.So we never dumped them together.I just would slide the new bag down in,and use the opened one first.

I also cross posted on facebook as well.
 
Wow! I have some of the Blue Wilderness chicken and rice food. Just a small bag that I was supplementing one of my shelties with since she was going through a picky stage. Didn't use that much of it though cause she didn't like it either. I going to take a peek to see if that is the date on the bag.
