Blueberry is the fastest at picking up bucket work (I do this to teach them to heel close to me)...this is 2 days of work. This girl is so smart! I can’t wait for her puppy classes to start!

So cute, very focused. I've never seen this maneuver before, looks interesting. I'm sure she'll be a star in her puppy class. What a good girl.

I learned it in an earlier class with Piper. Teaches them hind end awareness and to stay close when heeling. I then use the command ‘get in’ much later in place of heel (get in heel position). Heel (the actual movement) is always heel lol.

hadn't heard it called bucket work....
I tried to do it with all 4 of mine and Cran was the only one who would even touch the bowl. everyone else jumped over it.....

I like to do clicker training with it because of that. They get it so fast!

I did bucket work with Brodie but later on and more for hind end awareness. Interesting that you do it for close heeling. She is quite the rapt student and so advanced!!! Impressive!!!! We start puppy obedience next week. Deacon is is a puller, might have to try bucket work with him!

I want to do pivots with the boys using the bowl. I have figured out how to get them on the bowl now- just have to get practicing.....
