one thing I noticed in the last specialty that Deja was in, all the winning dogs were sables. i overheard a few of te more die-hard breeder/show folk grumbling that the judge had a bias towards sables.

Is there a bias in the ring? I know that I have seen champions of every color but are there some that don't win as often as they should due to color?

You need to come to my area. Hardly any sables show. All AOACs here. I forget exactly but at our Jan. speciality there were 28 or 9 bitches only 3 or 4 sables. Some judges do seem to have color preferences though.

no no no no no ... youve all been mislead your whole lives... the color that is the TRUE bomb (and were talking nuclear) are the bi-blacks... Its hard to accept when youve thought one thing youre whole life, but now you know

I used to have just sables, then I got a tri, now I have sable, tri and a bi blue. I think they all rule. I still tend to favor mahogany sables
