Sheltie looks- lighten up



I hope we don't pick apart human looks tihe way we do here about dog looks. It is hurtful when one criticizes another ones beloved dog. I am not a breeder, but I would be wary of one who criticized a beloved champion sheltie.

Even champions have faults.. no dog is perfect.
A smart breeder will recognize that, and use that in evaluating their dogs and those which they are looking at using in their breeding program.
We each also have individual preferences, and different people interpret the standard differently.
I think this is actually a good healthy discussion.

Very interesting...helps us non-conformation peeps out alot..

Clancy is my mega sheltie and he has BIG bones...Abby isn't fine boned but she isn't huge either...

I like the picking apart of the dogs...cuz I can't see the faults on my own...all I see is a purdy dog..LOL

I knew about the judges that were mentioned...even met one..Clancy's breeder...(hope that wasn't braggin) I do like to read and try to keep up!!
