Bonnie's blood work is in

Well, parts of it are in anyway. She has slightly failing kidneys. The white blood counts were a bad vial and the lab couldn't read them. And her thyroid is reading a bit high, but they didn't do a full on thyroid reading. So she needs to have another vial of blood drawn for the white blood cells. They can read the thyroid off of the blood they already have. Really, I feel like I was just told that they know nothing about why she is having so many accidents. I want her quality of life to be good for the time she has left. I feel helpless.
 
I am so very sorry. It's so difficult when the news is not what you'd hoped. Hug her and love her for me!! :hugs:hugs
 
It is so hard when a little older dog you love is struggling with issues that don't seem to have answers. I pray that your Bonnie will have a lot more comfort quality time with you.

I will keep your little Bonnie in my prayers, I'm so sorry the news was not what you wanted to hear. It is very hard to watch our little ones struggle with issues that we are not sure how to treat. I wish a speedy answer from the second vial and pray for better news. Please keep us posted. :fl
 
Thank you all. Today is a new day, and we are going to get her blood drawn- again. We didn't go last night because once I got home I just wanted to stay warm. (I work in a warehouse and I was beside the bay doors when FedEx showed up and never got warm again.) But today we go again. And we get the thyroid started. And we can figure out what medicine she needs.
